Welcome To My World
I am Joe Horton and I paint pictures. My love and appreciation for the
visual beauty I find in nature are my motivation for trying to capture my impressions in my art.
My purpose is simply to make you smile, lighten your heart, or communicate some of what I find sublime
in this wonderful world. I have no message, no agenda - other than to reflect the splendor
of nature's creation.
Quoting a wise man from long ago "art, after all, is just the intelligent observation of the
commonplace in order to verify universal values and confirm the significance of our lives".
I hope you enjoy exploring my work. You the observer, complete the experience
which nature begins and I translate, and which I earnestly hope enhances the environment
